After completing my Masters degree I underwent a period of 2.5 years supervision to be eligible for Chartered status within the British Psychology Society. This supervision involved 2 hours per week over 52 weeks per year. Thus the total supervision I received during this time was 260 hours of individual supervision. During this time I also underwent peer supervision for 1 hour per week. I was also sent on various training courses required for the supervision element of my chartered application. These training courses involved intensive periods of supervision and training and amounted to approximately another 50 hours of supervision.
