Bio I founded Golden Leaf Counseling Service Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Community Counseling from the Johns Hopkins University, USA, I have been working in the field of counseling and clinical psychology for over 15 years. My research has focused on trauma-based mental health issues. I have worked in psychotherapy with teenagers and adults, both individuals and couples, on vase array of issues including cross-cultural and inter-cultural concerns, trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, sexuality, life changes, and personal growth. In addition, I have worked in school settings, outpatient clinics and as a licensed Montessori teacher. My work emphasis is meeting the clients were they're at and collaboratively work through concerns and issues to reach a solution or resolution for a manageable and/or healthier state of being.
Clients I Work With I work with children, teens, adults individuals and couples. Queer affirming and I also provide small group work for EAP programs and relationship workshops.
Services I Offer As a Brief Humanistic therapist and Experiential therapist, I work in the here-and-now to help resolve past experiences. I believe that many problems in our lives can inhibit our ability to make authentic, meaningful, and self-directed choices about how to live. Consequently, the interventions I tend to work with are aimed at firstly, increasing client self-awareness and self-understanding, and, secondly, creating a lasting change through various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, Psychoanalysis, Gestalt, EMDR, TF-CBT, where we shift the way we think to create a change in our behavior and integrate the changes into our lives that are sustainable and long-lasting.
