I am originally from Oregon, USA and have both an MA in Counseling Psychology (1986) and a Masters in Social Work (1992). I have lived in Tokyo for over 30 years and raised children in both the Japanese and international school systems. I know well the kind of stressors many ex-pats, families and Japanese returnees face in Japan. I use an eclectic approach to therapy to work with clients who face issues such as acculturation, depression and anxiety, relationship/ marital problems and work stress.
