Bio I am a psychotherapist and social worker originally from Melbourne, Australia. I am located on the western side of Tokyo. I provide counselling and psychotherapy to adult and adolescent clients dealing with a variety of life challenges. I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, addiction (eg. alcohol) and physical illness or disability.
I strive to create a supportive, accepting and non-judgemental space for all clients, and my therapeutic practice is sensitive to dynamics of shame and trauma. It is shaped primarily by Relational Gestalt Therapy, psychodynamic and systems approaches, but also draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). As a clinical (hospital) social worker I have worked extensively with individuals and families living with chronic or life-limiting illness, especially in cancer care, palliative care, gastroenterology, neurology and Addiction Medicine.
I am registered as a Clinical Psychotherapist with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and am a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Clients I Work With Adults and adolescents (aged 14 and over). Clients are from diverse backgrounds, including individuals who are expats, returnees to Japan, company employees, students, teachers / ALTs, unemployed, part-time employed, on SOFA visas, neurodivergent, non-heteronormative and non-cisgendered.

Service Fee ¥12,000 per Regular session (55 minutes)
¥14,500 per Extended session (75 minutes)
