I have seven years of experience as a crisis counselor, and began a private practice as a licensed mental health counselor specializing in LGBTQIA+ issues, the intersection of ADHD and autism, and trauma in 2021. The foundation of my counseling style rests on a philosophical background of existentialist and intersectional feminist thought. Person-Centered, Solution-Focused Therapy informs my therapeutic practice. My specialties and areas of interest include: LGBTQIA+ issues, trans health, ADHD, autism, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, crisis response, sexual health and Safe, Sane, Consensual kink practices, navigating fandom and online spaces, and multicultural and intersectional approaches to generational trauma.
I am nationally certified through the NBCC (the National Board for Certified Counselors) and licensed as a therapist (LMHC) through the state of Washington. I am also a member of the ACA (American Counseling Association), SAIGE, and WPATH. My schooling includes a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University and additional training in emergency/crisis mental health first aid, as well as EMDR and CPT.
In my free time, I enjoy karaoke, tabletop role-playing games, cheesy 80s/90s sci-fi and horror films. writing, drawing, photography, singing, cooking, long-distance running, and weight-lifting.
